While the new engine is good news for The Elder Scrolls 6, what came next is far from it. This should be refreshing for fans, as The Elder Scrolls 6 is going to need to bring something new to the table if it wants to perform like Skyrim did. For those that may not know, Bethesda has used the Creation Engine for Skyrim, Fallout 4, and Fallout 76, so Creation Engine 2 will likely be a new and improved version of that. Dubbed the Creation Engine 2, this is to be the new technological base used for Bethesda games moving forward. The first thing that Howard mentions about The Elder Scrolls 6 in this interview is that it will use the same engine as Starfield. Unfortunately, this news wasn't necessarily the greatest, and fans now feel even more certain that they won't see the next Elder Scrolls game for years to come.
